PHCDownload is an Uploading and downloading, Content management system produced by PHPCredo. Written in PHP and MySQL.

The project which was originally started May 15, 2003 for a game-related file archive website SubSpace Downloads, which was dedicated to the Subspace (also known as Continuum) computer game. In June 2003 the project was put on hiatus until it was picked up again December 7, 2005 when it went through a complete recode and the first beta was released to the public for testing. It wasn't until February 6, 2007 after months of feature requests, and improvements that the first general release (version 1.0.2) appeared.
