You seem to have confused the AR-15 civilian rifle with the M15. The M15 is a rifle from the 50's and 60's which is based on the M14 battle rifle. The term "M15" is also a commercial term used to describe AR-15 type weapons made for the American civilian market. I removed your reference to this weapon as off-topic.
