Phat Benny-B(born. Benjamin Eric Nelson) was born on February 23rd, 1979 in Abbotsford, British Columbia. He is the hype man for the underground hip-hop crew North West Magik.

Phat benny-B spent most of his life working alternatly in the area of computer tech support and as a cook. In 2002 Benny-B met Williams Lake, British Columbia rapper The Reverend. In 2003 Phat Benny-B along with The Reverend co-founded the underground hip-hop crew North West Magik. They have sinced moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia to open a music recording company called North West Media.
