i got the list from zipcodezoo, where they very probably have several to many synonyms included in their names. the number of ">100 species" is thus only an estimate, as i know nothing about this genus, apart from the mentioned source. also, i believe Mill. is the authority of the genus, but it could also be Adans., according to IPNI. --Sarefo 21:03, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
