This is actually a picture of Phacelia bipinnatifida, not Phacelia purshii. P. purshii can be recognized by its lavendar, fringed petals. The fringed corolla is unique in this genus to both Phacelia purshii and Phacelia fimbriata. For a picture of Phacelia purshii" [[1]].
