[edit] PNG right-click/size disabled in Wikipedia
As of October 2007, in English Wikipedia, the right-click menu has been blocked for many PNG images, so that "Open in new Window" or properties/size information was no longer available in Wikipedia for PNG or SVG images. The disabled right-click/size menu only occurs in English Wikipedia, not Wikimedia Commons or other language Wikipedias, and right-click is not disabled for the efficient GIF or JPEG image displays. To view PNG or SVG properties/sizes of thumbnailed images, edit a Wikimedia Commons page (or other-language wikipedia) to link the particular image, in save-preview mode, then right-click the PNG/SVG thumbnail to view properties or see other right-click menu options formerly available in Wikipedia for PNG/SVG images.
