[edit] Removal of Link to Peugeot 407

Link to spy shots were removed as they were not for Peugeot 308 rather the Peugeot 407, probably the confusion was because the 407 was not released at the time of the photos.

Link Removed:

[edit] Peugeot 308 RC Z

Should we create an individual article for the coupe version or just intregrate the information into this article? Onnaghar (speak.work) 15:47, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DISPUTE: Fuel Economy World Record

The article says:

"The Peugeot 308 currently holds the record of the most fuel efficient mainstream car, averaging 3.13 litres per 100km (90.75 mpg) over a distance of 14,580km."

But if:

100 kilometers = 62.137 miles

&

3.13 liters = 0.8269 gallons [US, liquid]

Then:

62.137 / 0.8269

=

75.14 mpg

And, NOT 90.75

Any other opinions?

The article was from Australia, which, prior to metrication, used the imperial gallon. The imperial gallon, which was the standard measure for petrol (gasoline) in the UK and in most of the Commonwealth of Nations, and many other places prior to metrication, equals 4.54609 litres (1.20095 US gal). -- de Facto (talk). 09:55, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
