[edit] Speedy deletion of The OaKs (band)

--> The OaKs are a musical group that has been covered in an international publication - Paste Magazine, July 2007, has an international presence through it's charitable association with Global Hope Network, and has been featured as a showcasing artist at the annual CMJ music conference in New York City.

This is not an insignificant presence, nor is it an advertisement or spam. it is a factual article about a well established musical act in the United States. Why would Wikipedia delete this article??

A tag has been placed on The OaKs (band), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion A7.
