[edit] RE: external links removal
Hello - in response to your message on my talk page, the primary reason I removed the link was due to the method in which it was added. The link was spammed across multiple articles, and was added bare - no other contributions were made to the articles during these edits. See WP:SPAM for guidelines about what is considered spamming.
However if you feel that the link is truly useful, I recommend doing one of the following (in order of recommendation):
- Mention the link on one of the article's talk pages (whichever article you think is most appropriate). This will allow other editors to discuss the merits of the link, and if they agree that it's useful, you have the backing of the consensus to re-add it.
- Add the link to one article, and work with other similar articles so that they all wikilink together. This can be done by adding in-article links of specific words or phrases, or other articles can be added to a "See also" section. This way a reader could start with one article, move on to other related articles within Wikipedia (we try to keep readers "in house" for information whenever possible), and end up following the link if desired.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other concerns or questions --AbsolutDan (talk) 01:41, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cappuccino
You say that American Cappuccinos are not sophisticated, but I repectfully disagree. Compared to simple coffee (americano), cappuccino is sophisticated. It requires more work to make it, and more ingrediants. Now that I think about it, everything is Europe seems more sophisticated . . . with thier cobble stone streets and thier fast trainswhicky1978 02:50, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
