[edit] Place of birth

There's a discrepancy between the European Parliament website, which gives his place of birth as Bucharest, and the Romanian Wikipedia, which gives it as somewhere in Gorj County, so I've left this out for now. — Trilobite 21:28, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

The European Parliament website says: "Born on 19 May 1944, Lelesti-Gorj" [1] bogdan 12:23, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
