Talk:Peter Powell (kite)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The tail was a hollow tube, but since it was tied to the base of the kite, wind could not get into it, so it was never inflated. In fact, if it did inflate, it would not stream along the path the kite took, since it would have bulk and therefore structure.

Kites first came in blue, then yellow and red were introduced (all primary colours). I'm not sure if there was a green, but yellow and red definately (I still have some of the plastic sheets they were made of, given to my father after some work he did for Peter Powel).
