[edit] Canadian Connection

Various references I have used to write Alexander Duncan McRae refer to his having partnered with Senator Peter Jansen (sometime spelled Jansan) of Nebraska in the development of what became the largest lumber company in the world before WW I. Others involved were D B Hanna (David Blyth Hanna??), the Swift Brothers (meat), William Mackenzie and Donald Mann. I see nothing in this article to indicate that this is the same Senator Jansen. If anyone comes across a link, it would be interesting to explore the connection. KenWalker | Talk 07:02, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I believe this is the same Peter Jansen, but so far I am not able to support that with the printed sources that are available to me. JonHarder 04:01, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
