Why is it spelled like that here? Isn't it "de Rose"? You'd think getting the name of the subject of the article right would be a priority. --82.93.10.238 12:26, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] not when the deep

The name of the song is Deep Purple, not When the Deep Purple Falls. This is confirmed by all the web references I have checked, and both versions of the sheet music I have seen. "When the" and "falls" were not part of the title of the instrumental publised in the early 30s, but were included in the lyric that Mitch Parrish wrote a few years later.
