"Bowles also played the smarmy Meres in the spin off movie of the Thames Television series Callan" Based on research in IMDb, I believe Bowles played Meres in the "prequel" to the series and the spin-off movie had Peter Egan as Meres (with Anthony Valentine playing Meres in the main series). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.163.138.12 (talk) 02:27, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
