[edit] White Shark

The human/shark hybrid wasn't genetically engineered, it was a surgically modified olympic athlete. Secondly, the White Shark link goes to Great White Shark, the animal.

[edit] Amazon

I have removed Peter Benchley's Amazon from the booklist under fiction for a couple of reasons. First, it was a TV series, not a novel. There were books written based upon the series, but they were done by other authors. Second, a publishing date of 2004 is given, but the TV series came out in 2000. Third, except for this article, I can find no reference on (appropriately enough) Amazon or Google of any novel by Benchley entitled "Peter Benchley's Amazon" being published. 23skidoo 06:20, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pulminary Fibrosis

Is there any record of when he was diagnosed with this disease? They say the life span of someone diagnosed is 3 to 5 years upon diagnosis. Curious if this was the case.

[edit] picture

[edit] Cleanup tag

Removed cleanup tag cuz it's fixed. Don't know how.--Anchoress 22:22, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Too many images

This article has too many images of the Jaws cover. This number isn't covered by our fair use policy! One would be sufficient (I'd suggest the first ed.). The JPStalk to me 21:46, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jaws - inspired by Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916

The Jersey Shore shark attacks of 1916 article claims that those attacks inspired this book. If a source for this claim can be found it could be added here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Open4D (talkcontribs) 01:59, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Jaws hardback.JPG

Image:Jaws hardback.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
