[edit] Is it really fair to say he's successful?

How many people even know about him? Were it not for Me, Myself, & Irene, I never would have ever heard about him. I think many would agree with me.

Sure, he has a gold album or two, but, well....I think it speaks for itself.

I'm not a big fan. But he is often mentioned in music magazines...I would say hes probably one of those artists that on the fringe of popularity and underground.

He also helped lead to the popularity of the singer-songwriter renaissance a la John Mayer. 67.160.161.176 (talk) 07:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
