Can someone throw some light on this one ?

According to my records the Freddie & The Dreamers bassist, Pete Birrell, was born on 9 May 1941, and is still alive.

I think there is confusion with a similarly named actor, who was once married to fellow actor, Stephanie Cole (she starred in TV series "Tenko", "Waiting For God" etc). He was born on 19 July 1935, and died in 2004.
