Peterson Warren Hatcher is a fictional character in the Fudge books. With his first appearance being Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. In Fudge the television series, he was played by Jake Richardson.
As a recurring gag in the series, he is always irritated by Fudge's behavior.

Born in New York City, New York, Peter thought everything was fine until Fudge came into the world. In Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, and Superfudge, Peter tried to get his parents to listen to him, with successful results at the end. In Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, he got his mom to listen to him, by her spanking Fudge for ruining Peter homework poster; and again in Superfudge, when he suggests to confiscate Fudge and Daniel (Fudge's Friend)'s bikes for a month after Fudge and Daniel ran away to Sandy's Bakery. Peter's best friends are Jimmy Fargo and Alex Santo. His worst enemy is Sheila Tubman. In Double Fudge, his favorite book author is Dave Barry.

In the reprints, Peter's appearance consists of messy brunette (brown) hair (In his character description on the [1] website he appears to have blond hair). His shirt in the reprints usually resemble a sweater. On the 2003 reprint cover of Superfudge, he appears to be wearing red converse-like sneakers.
