Peter Leven (born 27 September 1983 in Glasgow). Peter played for Kilmarnock after signing from Rangers in 2004 but he struggled to break into the first squad and played just 15 times for them in the 2006-07 season. Peter scored 5 times for Kilmarnock. He Joined Chesterfield F.C. from Kilmarnock on a free transfer after rejecting their new contract offer in favour of first team football.
As Aarron Downes made a poor start to the 2007/2008 season, Peter was given the captaincy armband and became Chesterfield regular captain. Liked for his accurate passing and chasing back he quickly became a fan favourite and appeared in 44 of Chesterfield's 49 games in the 2007/08 season. However, as Chesterfield failed to gain promotion Peter turned down a contract extention with the spireites. He joined Milton Keynes Dons on June 6, 2008 on a free transfer.[1]
