Peter Danckerts de Rij

Peter or Pieter Danckerts de Rij (1605, Amsterdam - 9 August 1661, Rudnik) was a Dutch painter of the Baroque period. He was the son of Cornelis, member of a large family of artists [1]. Since around 1640 he was active in Poland as painter on royal court of Polish King Władysław IV Vasa. [2]
