Peter Carey is a historian, specialising in the history of South-East Asia, particularly East Timor, Indonesia and Burma.[1]
He is currently the Laithwaite fellow of Modern History at Trinity College, Oxford.
Dr Carey regularly provides comment on the history and politics of South-East Asia to the British media. [2]
