Peter Blount, is a Certified Physical Education Instructor, a Specialist in Performance Nutrition (ISSA), and a Specialist in Sports Conditioning (ISSA). He also holds degrees in Business, and Education. He has been named Coach of the USA Youth National Track and Field Team, Florida Dairy Farmer's (Got Milk?) Coach of the Year, Cape Coast Conference and Space Coast Conference Coach of the Year, Who's Who in American Education, Member of the World Cup Bobsled Team, Member of a US National Track and Field Team, Olympic Team Trials Athlete Representative, Member of NIKE Elite Track and Field Team, University of Florida Track Captain, and a two-time NJCAA All-American.[1]
Currently, President of Blount Sports Performance Inc. and Cross Country and Track coach for the Satellite High Scorpions. The Lady Scorps are 2005-2007 Florida 3A state champions.
