Peter Francis Bergeron (born November 9, 1977, in Greenfield, Massachusetts) is a professional baseball outfielder who is currently a free agent. Bergeron played for the Independent York Revolution of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and the Pittsburgh Pirates Double-A affiliate, the Altoona Curve in the Eastern League in 2007.
Drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 4th round of the 1996 MLB amateur draft, Bergeron would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Montreal Expos on September 7, 1999.
Prior to the 2008 season Bergeron stated in a local newspaper article that he would most likely retire from professional baseball. As of June, 2008 he has yet to join a team on any professional level.
