Pete Dominick (born October 31, 1975 in Syracuse, New York) is an American comedian and talk radio personality. Dominick grew up in Marcellus, New York and now lives in Rockland County, New York, a suburb of New York City where he lived for about 10 years.

[edit] Early career
Dominick started performing in public during high school, where he would emcee talent shows and read morning announcements over the public-address system. His career took off in the late 1990s when he performed in various clubs around Manhattan, first as an amateur and later as a professional.

Dominick's career expanded around the turn of the century when he began performing at colleges all over the country. He has performed at hundreds of campuses and started headlining clubs and theaters in 2005.
[edit] Audience Warm-up
Many people know Dominick as the opening act for The Colbert Report on Comedy Central where he warms up the audience and introduces star Stephen Colbert. Dominick also fills in for comedian Paul Mecurio warming up for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Dominick has also warmed up audiences for CNBC's Mad Money.

Dominick took over the hour-long show Comedy by Request on Sirius Satellite Radio's uncensored comedy channel Raw Dog in 2006. In February, 2008 Dominick started hosting the talk show Pete's Big Mouth on the new Sirius Radio channel Indie Talk. The 3-hour show, which airs weekdays from 2-5 p.m. Eastern Time on channel 110, features Dominick's thoughts on politics and life. Dominick describes the program as truly independent of the political labels commonly used to pigeon hole Americans in political terms.

Dominick lives in Rockland County, New York with his wife Valerie and daughters Ava and Julia.
Dominick attended and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill.
