Medal given by Peter I of Russia to the architect of Taganrog's haven, Matthew Simon in 1709. Features Peter the Great's portrait on the front, saying Czar Pyotr Alexeevich, the All-Russia ruler. The plan of Taganrog's fortress is on the back, stating the year 1709 and For the Haven. To Captain Matthew Simon.
