Peter Lalor (1827-1889), the youngest brother of James Fintan Lalor, went to Melbourne, Australia in 1852. In 1854 he was to lead miners in an uprising at Eureka Stockade, Ballarat, [Victoria]. He went on to become a Member of Victoria's Legislative Assembly from 1856-1887, dieing in Melbourne in 1889.
