Talk:Permanent marker
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am interested in the history of mettalic markers. Does anyone know in which year they were introduced?
How about the practice of writing on onesself or others with sharpies and other permanent markers?
There are nowadays special CD markers which are designed to write on CDs without damaging them. They are finer than other permanent markers and also more permanent. Why not mention them in this article or make a seperate article on them?
- This article contradicts itself. It says that permanent markers damage cds, but sharpie permanent markers don't.
Does sniffing permanent markers really harm you? Not that I do it, but I've been told it does.

"Gloves should also be worn to avoid absorption through the skin." This is a joke, right? --MQDuck 17:40, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

- Maybe you could conduct an experiment by writing over your walls in permanent marker and seeing how long it is before you can wipe it off with a cloth. anemone
