[edit] Error creating thumbnail

Error creating thumbnail: convert: unable to open image `/mnt/upload3/wikipedia/en/a/a3/Peri2.jpg': No such file or directory. convert: missing an image filename `/mnt/upload3/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a3/Peri2.jpg/200px-Peri2.jpg'.

I got this error in 2 browsers, but could see no weirdness in the template markup or this file specifically. It looked fine on a preview so I just added an irrelevant space and all looks well now. TransUtopian 01:45, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

This is likely a product of yesterday's crash - caches not being refreshed properly or something. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 01:53, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
You're referring to the Wikipedia's cache? Because I've never visited this page before I saw the error. (I was listening to ...Ish.) TransUtopian 11:37, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Wikipedia's cache. It sometimes needs refreshing. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 12:07, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Peri's Step-Father

I've noticed that this entry says that Peri's step-father was killed and that's why she decided to join the Doctor on his travels. Not true. Howard Foster was still alive and healthy on Earth and Kamelion even confirms this when she asks where Howard was.--Alan-WK 23:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Age of Chaos

I haven't read it. Does Peri actually appear in it, or is it set after her death? (I want to know whether it should be included in the comics list or not.) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:04, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nicola Bryant's nationality

As I recall from some source or other (DWM?), one of Nicola's parents is American.

Then again, perhaps this was spin: the media fanfare for Peri as an upcoming companion, spurred by JNT, misconstrued Nicola as an American actress.

IIRC Bryant's parents are both British, but her first husband was American, so she had dual nationality. Timrollpickering (talk) 00:34, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Peri's Nationality

As far as I know - USA passports list place of BIRTH, not residence, and don't include the city - but I don't know if there was a close-up on her passport in the series with a misconstrued "City of residence" or whatever, so I don't want to change the active text without that info.. Anyone? --Katfights 11:16, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

I take it you're referring to the statement, "her passport lists her residence as Pasadena, California," in the article. I just took a look at my own US Passport. It has the state and country of my birth, not the city. There is a space provided, where I am urged to PENCIL in my current address. That's not an official document of my residence, of course, but it's just meant as a help to someone's returning the passport to me if I lose it. 140.147.160.78 (talk) 14:35, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Stephen Kosciesza
