  • Peggy Seeger was born in the USA, did some early work there, and spent most of her mature life in the UK. Within Wikipedia, she has the classification "American folk singers".
  • Alfred Hitchcock was born in the UK, did some early work there, and spent most of his mature life in the USA. Within Wikipedia, he has the classification "English film directors".
  • Evangeline Booth was born in the UK, did some early work there, and spent most of her mature life in the USA. Within wikipedia, she has the classification "English Theologians".
  • Percy Erskine Nobbs was born in the UK, did some early work there, and spent most of his mature life in Canada. Within wikipedia, he has the classification "Canada architects".

By the logic of the first four examples, the main factor is a person's nationality, is where a person was born, but the last example runs contrary to that. We would have expected Percy Erskine Nobbs to be classified as a British architect. Could we have an official ruling on this quandry? Ogg 19:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Almost two weeks have gone by, and nobody has stepped in to defend the category "Canadian Architects" so I have changed it to "Scottish Architects". Ogg 18:04, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
