Perry Hemus is the English creator of Woodland Records which is based at the Custard Factory in the heart of Birmingham's now thriving club district. Perry is primarily a music producer whose musical direction is very much Nu Jazz, Latin, Brazilian and Broken Beat.
He is also the brain child behind the Woodland Conclave Project on INFRAcom!.
Perry Hemus writes and produces for other artists but is probably best known for his acclaimed 'Rhodesmode' LP which was released on Woodland Records and Impartmaint/RipCurl (Japan) during 2005/2006. Tracks/Remixes from 'Rhodesmode' have also featured on many Compilation LPs worldwide.
Current projects include Remixes for Rainy Cities 'Sasso', Further Outs 'Bossa Futura' and Infracoms 'Native'. Perry Hemus is also recording his follow up LP and EP releases to be released in the United Kingdom on Woodland in 2008.
