Perla Fernandes dos Santos (born November 28, 1988, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a teenage Brazilian Dance music and Pop singer commonly known by Perlla. She rose to fame with her first album, Eu Só Quero Ser Livre, in early-2006.

She started her singer trajectory at the age of 4, in a Gospel church. At the 15, she met the Brazilian DJ and musical producer DJ Marlboro, that was enchanted with her voice, and Perlla officially started her career. Her first album has just been released in 2006, with DJ Marlboro production. Eu Só Quero Ser Livre, from DeckDisc records, was a strong success in the Brazilian charts. Her songs talk about the teenager's way of life, and its disillusions, strange and funny situations. Her song style is considered to many people, the Funk Carioca, but Perlla herself says that is not her musical style.

With a 32 shows-per-a-month average, Perlla is considered the Brazilian music revelation. The song "Tremendo Vacilão", that talks about a conflicted relationship of Perlla, was top of the charts in 2006; "Totalmente Demais", a remake of the famous Brazilian singer Caetano Veloso's song, was theme of the Brazilian TV novel "Cobras & Lagartos", of TV Globo. She also participated with the samba group Disfarce, with the single "Solução", another success in Brazil.
