Per Johan Axel Åhlin, (born August 7, 1931), is a Swedish artist and animator.
He is famous for animated movies including
- I huvet på en gammal gubbe (In the Head of an Old Man), 1968.
- Dunderklumpen (Thundering Fatty), 1974.
- Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton (The Tale of Karl-Bertil Jonsson's Christmas Eve), 1975.
- Resan till Melonia (The Journey to Melonia, loosely based on Shakespeare's The Tempest), 1989.
- Hundhotellet. En mystisk historia. (The Dog Hotel. A Mysterious Story.), 2000.
Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons Julafton is an animated movie adaptation of Tage Danielsson's short story of the same name, telling a heart-warming tale of a modern Robin Hood who takes from the rich to give to the poor people of Stockholm on Christmas Eve. Karl-Bertil Jonsson's Julafton has gained huge popularity in Sweden, and is broadcast every Christmas Eve on Swedish and Norwegian national television.
