Local gossip claims that the main reason Cook's works was never redeveloped ( some small areas were ) was that too many explosives had been dumped or buried at the site and any construction would be too dangerous. The site itself is in a small valley isolated from the village which would help to contain any accidental explosions. 145.253.108.22 10:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
