[edit] Danville???

There is a mismatch in the article. First the road is said to have run from Waterville to Bangor (what is correct AFAIK), in the next sentences there is mentioned a connection to the Atlantic&St. Lawrence in Danville. That should be changed, I think. I don't know exactly which company owned the tracks joining at North Maine Jct., was it the Bangor&Piscataquis? What I also miss is the opening date of the P&K line.
