Talk:Pennsylvania State Constable's Office
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This addition desperately needs to be proved or revoked, if not true (Although I wouldn't be surprized if it was), it's highly misleading and (IMAO) comes close to slander. 68.39.174.238 15:57, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

State Constables in Pennsylvania are elected at the Municipal level, they are public officials and hold office in the executive branch of government, they have the discretion to administer their office according to statute and can appoint deputies to serve under their authority.
There are many State Constables Offices throughout the commonwealth, some are composed of just one State Constable, others are composed of several State Constables and their deputies from multiple municipalities who work together.
