The penicillin discovery is better treated in the penicillin entry. I'd suggest the history discussion here be omitted. Nemetona 03:54, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

I would second the suggestion that the history section here be removed. What's here is merely a recounting of the old myth about the discovery of penicillin, which is not entirely accurate and covered in much better depth in the penicillin entry itself.

I agree too. This even contradicts the penicillin article. user:guruclef
