I reverted your edit to The Bahamas, as that info is not needed. I understand your point, but some common sense needs to be expected. The Bahamas are also not part of Asia, Antarctica, or Australia. Do Do we need to write that out too? Flibbert (talk) 16:31, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

I did the same revert. Please list a source for this arbitration panel. I disagree with Flibbert's slippery slope argument. People generally think that "South America" and Latin America" are synonymous. The first is geographic whereas the second is cultural. Part of North America is Latin America (South of the US, excluding all the English-speaking countries). The Bahamas is one of those exclusion, which people generally do not know of. So it is expected that this error would be made. But this is due to poor geography skills. I did add that the country is in North America in the intro. As for the notation on "Latin America", since that is a cultural denotation, it does not belong in the geography section. Find elsewhere in the article to put it.Gary Joseph (talk) 09:28, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
