[Rubbish deleted] I cannot see in the historical account any mention of "seaside garden city" so have left it out. I have retained the two "unofficial" sites, although neither are particularly helpful as to facts. The history says that Neville changed the name. I have used the dates from the history. Every school has a different coloured uniform in any one place surely!!! The Dell wasn't explained - I hope I've got it right. I have been there, some while ago, so it would help to have local input - but not "chatty"!!!! Too much of the article was like that, and not encyclopaedic at all.
I would hesitate to call it a seaside resort! My guess is that few tourists - apart from those wanting to look at the Meridian - come here. I've deleted that. Peter Shearan 16:38, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
As a local I found the Wikipedia entry on a web search. I have added some more information about the Dell. 18 March 2006
[edit] The Dell
I found the Wikipedia entry on a websearch and I've updated the information on the Dell as I live in the town, the original information was pretty accurate though - you have a good memory!
