The Peaceful betta, Betta imbellis, also known as the Crescent Betta is a freshwater ray-finned fish in the gourami family. This species is native to Malaysia and Indonesia.[1] Betta imbellis (Ladiges, 1975)

A peaceful species of Betta. Was only recently discovered, and is rarely seen in the hobby. Keep only with other small, peaceful fish.
