Payee Lake is situated near Shogran in the Kaghan Valley in Pakistan. It is a picturesque lake situated at the height of almost 3,000 m (10,000 feet).
The scenery around is breathtaking: Makra Peak, Malka Parbat, Moosa da Musalla and the majestic mountains of Kashmir are all around you.
The lake is accessible via Kiwai passing through Shogran through a jeep track. Trekking here is preferred by the more adventuresome. Trekking further for 30 minutes Siri, the mountaintop is reached. The trek offers handsome rewards; the heavenly beauty of Siri and views of meadows engulfed on all sides by rugged majestic mountains.
