[edit] Summary

A photograph of a former textile factory and the Pawtucket Canal at Lowell, Massachusetts during the flood of the Merrimack River in May, 2006. The author took this picture. The rushing water entering the canal is flowing downward from the higher Hamilton Canal, at one time, running through turbines to provide power to the machinery.
