Pavello Barris Nord

Pavelló Barris Nord is an arena in Lleida, Catalonia. It is primarily used for basketball and the home arena of CE Lleida Bàsquet. The arena holds 5,500 people.
It was started building in June 1st, 2001 and was opened in October 4th, 2001. After the remodelling in summer of 2003 its capacity is 6.100 people.
The pavilion is in "Barris Nord", a zone of Lleida delimited by the neighborhoods of Pardinyes, Secà de Sant Pere and Balàfia.
When Lleida Bàsquet reached the ACB league, the team left the old Pavilion "Onze de Setembre" because this did not fulfill the minimum requirements of capacity that marked the league. The construction of a new pavilion was entrusted to a team of 40 companies of Lleida, which achieved every a milestone: finishing it before the first day of the league, that is, 125 days afterwards.
