[edit] December 2006
I removed information about Congressman Gillmor that was clearly taken from his website and was not neutral. I added back some information from a previous edit that was significant but not presented in a neutral way (RE: Gillmor's views in comparison with the Main Street Partnership). I was not able to determine from web research whether Congressman Gillmor's positions were different in other ways. Knowledgable users should make the appropriate edits. [edit] Death
I was just watching News 12 and they said this website had his cause of death as a "sexual adventure"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.125.60.45 (talk) 20:54, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

- Oh, yeah? Well, maybe I saw a website that said he died by being struck by lightning. Or maybe I saw a website that said he was disintegrated by aliens. So what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.213.57.50 (talk) 16:47, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

MSNBC has a breaking news banner on it. I think we need a Developing news banner or recent news banner added to this article Magnum Serpentine 16:33, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Has there been an official statement of cause of death yet? • Lawrence Cohen 16:59, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
An article today at The Hill says that he passed away "suddenly last night" according to his office, and "sources believe that the 10-term lawmaker may have had a heart attack." The author, Jackie Kucinich, is the daughter of Dennis Kucinich, and she's reported frequently before for various political blogs and The Hill. The quotes I pulled from her article are vaguely sourced, but I'd expect as much from any news service at this point. It might be of interest to people following this story and the political implications to watch The Hill, both for Jackie's articles and others on various issues that follow. ssc
[edit] His district
Fremont is NOT a suburb of Toledo, the two cities being about 35 miles apart. In fact, Fremont is further from Toledo than Bowling Green.
[edit] Defiance College
Where besides the list of categories does it note that he graduated from Defiance College? Or is his being listed as a Defiance College alumnus in error?
[edit] Family
Earlier today I found an article which explained that his first wife Brenda (mother of his two daughters) was killed in a 1972 car accident (this is probably her); there was something about how he credited his initial election to the Ohio Senate to her effort. His second wife Karen Lako was also an Ohio Senator (perhaps c. 1995, after he entered Congress?), and the article indicated they married in December 1983, and had the three sons (including twins). For the life of me, I can't find the article now, but am putting the info here for others to track down if they can. MisfitToys 22:42, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
