[edit] Meat

Tried to add some meat to this entry, hopefully I didn't get too POV. And try as I may, I can't find any info on his mom, "actress" Toni Smith or his wife, "screenwriter" Elizabeth Cohen, nor do I know if he has any children. --Feitclub 19:58, Sep 19, 2004 (UTC)

I read in a Time Magazine article on Giamatti that he has a four year old son. That was about a year ago, he would probably be around five now, but if you are looking for a lead that might be a good place to start. Good luck!

[edit] What?

"He is often confused with Rob Schneider."

He looks nothing like Rob Schneider. I saw the SNL sketch but I thought they were just being stupid. --Macarion 04:11, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

This is not a neutral article. The section on Giamatti's supposed Oscar "snub" is biased and thus breaks the rules of the site. Please remove it.

I agree that this article lacks a NPV. While I concur that he should have won an oscar for Sideways (and American Splendor) that's hardly something to put in an encylopedia entry. I also agree that the Rob Schneider reference is silly and shouldn't be in here. Unless someone wants to put in some authorities for these things I'll swing back by here and do some editing.
