Talk:Paul Foley (of Prestwood)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page was originally created for an MP who is now called Paul Foley (politician). Paul Foley of Prestwood was the eldest son and heir of Philip Foley, whereas Paul Foley (politician) was his cousin, the son of Paul Foley (ironmaster), Speaker of the House of Commons. I have moved the material that I wrote for this page into the family section of the article for Philip Foley, because this Paul Foley was non-notable. For that reason, I have included him in Paul Foley (disambiguation), but without a link to this page. If some one likes to PROD this page, I would not object. However, the previous redirect (resulting from an early page move) was misleading, and could not be retained. Peterkingiron (talk) 19:53, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I've added an internal anchor to the redirect, so it will jump to the "Family" section. It's probably doing no harm. Choess (talk) 00:00, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Well done. I agree that it is a harmless page. Peterkingiron (talk) 10:55, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
