Pauline Moran (born Blackpool) is an English actress best known for her role as Miss Lemon in the British television series Poirot.
She trained at several schools including the National Youth Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She has also been a professional astrologer since 1987.[1]
Although primarily a stage actress, she has appeared in films such as Three Weeks (1977), The Five Minute Films (1982) and The Woman in Black (1989) as well as in the television series The Cleopatras and The Good Soldier. As mentioned, she is perhaps best known for her role in Agatha Christie's Poirot as Hercule Poirot's secretary, Miss Lemon.
From 1965 to about 1970, Moran played bass guitar in the all-girl band She Trinity, also styled British Maid when recording for a French audience.[2]
