Pauline Gedge

Pauline Gedge (born 1945) is an award-winning and best-selling Canadian novelist who lives in Edgerton, Alberta. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, she spent a portion of her childhood in Oxfordshire, England, before her family settled in Virden, Manitoba. She later studied at the University of Manitoba. The majority of her novels are historicals, set in Ancient Egypt. Stargate is science fiction, The Covenant is contemporary horror, and Scroll of Saqqara incorporates some fantasy elements.
