Paulding Middle School Is a middle school that teaches grades 7-8 in the Lucia Mar Unified School District. Students and staff had to deal with a bat infestation of the school's roofs in the mid 1990s.

Paulding opened in 1967 with about 520 students. It was originally a Freshman campus that fed into Arroyo Grande High School.
