Paul Murphy, born in Wexford on 12 April 1985, is a footballer, who is currently playing for Wexford Youths. Murphy joined the Youths after a successful trial in the 2008 pre-season.[1] He was formerly played with Eircom League sides Bray Wanderers, St Patrick's Athletic and UCD. He started his career at All Blacks FC in County Wexford, where his performances attracted the attention of a number of cross channel clubs. After completing his Junior Cert exams Paul moved to Manchester City FC where he appeared for the youth and reserve teams. He also earned caps for Ireland from under 14 up to under 19 levels.[2]
