Paul Mazurkiewicz is the drummer of Cannibal Corpse, and one of two remaining original members, the other being bassist Alex Webster.

Paul was originally in the band Tirant Sin, alongside other future Cannibal Corpse members Chris Barnes and Bob Rusay. He, Barnes and Rusay met up with Alex Webster and Jack Owen in 1988, and Cannibal Corpse was formed.

Besides being the band's drummer, Paul is a composer and primary songwriter of the group, Paul's intricate lyrics are recognized as being the group's most complex, as seen in songs such as "Dead Human Collection," "Frantic Disembowelment," "Monolith," and "Worm Infested." Mazurkiewicz is a Polish-American [1] and is also a vegetarian. He uses Ddrum drums and Sabian cymbals, as well as Axis Pedals and Regal Tip sticks.

He is married to Deana, with a daughter named Ava.

He doesn't smoke or drink.
